Slovakian Wedding Dress

It's not every day that you get to photograph something cultural and if you know me well, then you'll know that I always jump at the chance to photograph something a little different. Slovakian born Lucia wanted to tie in a bit of her heritage to her wedding and planned on changing her white dress to a traditional Slovakian wedding dress.

Lucia planned to change just after midnight and although I would have loved to stay at the party for that long, the light would have meant that it wouldn't have been captured quite as well. So instead, I made a visit the day before her wedding day, so we could do the dress justice and photograph Lucia and her Slovakian wedding dress in full and unadulterated glory...
