I often feel that Brides and Grooms are spoilt for choice when it comes to looking for places to get married in Gloucestershire, not only do they have outstanding backdrops such as the Cotswold hills, they have an amazing selection of venues. For a rustic feel there are wonderful wedding barns and even tepees, for a more vintage feel they are old stately country manor houses, however for a classic feel with a contemporary edge the Queens in Cheltenham will not fail to impress.
The Queens Hotel has been entertaining guests ever since it originally opened in 1838. When it was first built it was described as "one of the noblest buildings of it's kind in Europe" and was names after Queen Victoria who's coronation fell in the same year. Recently renamed Queens, the entire hotel has undergone a complete restoration, revitalising it with her timeless richness, to provide it's guests complete comfort.
Esther and Bruce were wowed by Queens, and found it the perfect place to entertain their guests for their wedding.
Wow, what a day, thank you Esther & Bruce for letting me capture it for you.
