Times are changing everywhere, no more so than in the motor world. We are moving from place to place at such a fast rate that's it's often hard to keep up. How we go about making our journey is getting more and more complicated. No longer can you think I'll simply get into the car that's on my drive and head to my destination. Nationally towns and city's are intent on improving their air quality and with that the vehicle (certainly diesel & petrol cars) that you drive is considered a pollutant. Bristol is planning to ban diesel cars from the city centre and Birmingham has recently announced that it is going to plan to ban cars traveling through its city centre all together. Such big changes need big thinkers in the car industry to come together and work out how to best to react to this quickly changing environment.
I've photographed the British Vehicle Rental Leasing Association (BVRLA) conferences biannually for the past 7 years. The conferences offers expert analysis and debate giving delegates the vital insight they need to inform their business strategy and deal with key operational issues.
The images below are from the Mobility Conference held at the ICC in Birmingham. I first met up with Nina Bell (BVRLA Chair), Gerry Keaney (BVRLA Chief Executive) and Andy Street (Mayor of Birmingham).
Here is a testimonial from BVRLA about using me as their photographer for their conferences...
"As a business we have used Ben for the last 7 years for photography at BVRLA annual conferences. Ben is always extremely professional, easy to work with and always returns the results we desire. His photographs are always to the brief, of high quality and he always turns them around quickly meaning we never have to wait long for the photos to come back to us. Working with Ben is an absolute pleasure - I cannot recommend him highly enough." Fran Hampson, Events Manager, BVRLA
