Photographing weddings in the United Kingdom has it’s advantages, the main one for me is the interchangeable seasons. Each season, gives off different colour with not only the natural foliage from plants and trees but also light. The height of the sun is obviously at its highest in the summer months but it really comes into play when it lowers in the Autumm, Winter and Spring months. Golden hour often lasts (if the sun is out), for the best part of the day, resulting (for me anyway), in magical moments that allows my creativity as a photographer to sparkle.
Helen & Russell, chose to get married at Calcot Manor in October. Located in the Cotswolds countryside near Tetbury, it serves as a perfect treat for guests to get away. I’d never actually photographed at Calcot before, so I was really keen to discover, this hidden Cotswold gem.
