Flora and Gavin, like many couples, wanted an informal, low key wedding. They generally disliked being the centre of attention, and were nervous of a great song and dance, so instead, they invited just the closest friends and family. Photography wise, they chose me, because they liked my subtle candid approach. I only get involved as and when it requires, such as a large group shot, or to capture the odd family and friend picture. When I do, take over, I try and make the shots fun and never take along time doing so. Group phots, should take no more than 10-15 min at the best of times. Flora & Gavin gave me 5 minutes! Which was absolutely fine, as the rest of the time, they can relax, chat to friends and family whilst I photograph the essence of their special wedding day.
Instead of taking photographs of Flora and Gavin getting ready, they wanted me to start as they arrived at Winchester registry office, photograph their reception at Hotel Du Vin (Winchester obv) and stay until just after their speeches. At the end of the day, it’s their/your wedding day and I’m always happy to tailor make my services to what is needed.
What a lovely wedding. Thank you Flora & Gavin for letting me be a part of your special wedding day.
