I actually don’t often do wedding fayres (as one I don’t relish, standing in front of a table having to sell my work), instead I prefer people to stumble across me through recommendation. However Leigh Court, having seen me in action at weddings (and a few corporate events) were keen to have me on board as a preferred supplier and continue to recommend me to their prospective bride and grooms. It’s this kind of long term relationship with a venue that really works. Leigh Court can entrust me with getting stunning candid moments captured, balanced with getting the required family shots, and of course keeping things to run on time.
Leigh Court is a historic estate located on the outskirts of Bristol, England. This grand mansion, with its stunning architecture and expansive grounds, is a popular venue for weddings, corporate events, and various other functions. The estate is surrounded by expansive parkland and gardens, providing a picturesque backdrop for outdoor events and photography.
Back to Tom & Erica! I initially travelled to Tom’s parents house where Tom and his brother had initially got ready. They were heading off (to a pub of course!) as I arrived and I briefly captured them before focusing on Erica and her bridesmaids. Time was somewhat tight, though as it was a relatively early Church ceremony, followed by travel to Leigh Court for the reception. We also had a language barrier (due to my lack of Japanese vocabulary!) – which actually made it most fun.
What a lovely wedding. Thank you Tom & Erica for letting me be a part of your special wedding day.
